Sometimes you’ve just gotta try something new! For this painting, I stepped out of my comfort zone and used only green, black, and gold (not my usual color palette) and experimented with acrylic ink instead of acrylic paint. It was my first time creating a pour painting with ink, and I loved seeing how it turned out!

I love the gold shimmer and how many cells popped up throughout the painting! It looks so cool! I covered it with resin to really make the colors and gold shimmer stand out. (Of course, resin makes photos tricky because of the glare, but in the video, you can see the shimmer throughout the entire piece!)
