Here’s something truly unique! While making a large triptych, a lot of paint dripped off the canvas onto the table, and instead of letting it go to waste, I saved the paint skins and leftover paint. I poured the leftover paint onto a new canvas and carefully glued the paint skins on top, and it turned out so cool!
This is the first painting I’ve made by reusing paint skins, and I love how it all came together. The background is a mix of soft cream, white, and blue tones, which makes it tricky to capture in photos, but I did my best. In person, the colors are even more beautiful, and the shapes and designs created by the paint skins are fascinating to look at.
This piece feels extra special to me because it’s not just art, it’s a way of giving new life to materials that would have otherwise been wasted. It’s one of a kind and even more beautiful in person!
